6) Approved talk tracks

General opener (15s)

“Hi {Name}, I help organizations that generate or can source used cooking oil or other feedstocks to explore a small-footprint biodiesel unit. I’m not selling you anything today—just checking if a 15-minute discovery call is worthwhile. What day & time would work in your schedule?”

Municipal

“We work with fleets/public works to valorize local UCO/fats via compact biodiesel. The manufacturer leads discovery (feedstock, utilities, compliance). Can we pencil 15 minutes with your fleet/fuel lead?”

Hospital

“Hospitals managing kitchen oil—or partnering with collectors—use compact biodiesel units. Discovery covers safety, storage, compliance. No pricing on this call.”

University

“Universities running sustainability labs/fleets assess a hands-on biodiesel platform and training asset. Quick discovery to see if specs/site realities align?”

International w/ UCO

“We’re speaking with local UCO collectors about co-locating a compact unit. The discovery is just scoping—feedstock, logistics, regulatory fit.”

7) Objection one-liners

  • Pricing? “Manufacturer shares pricing in discovery once feedstock/throughput are scoped. My role is to get you that time slot.”

  • Permits/safety? “Handled in discovery with their engineering team and your AHJ. Let’s map it in 15 minutes.”

  • No UCO? “Many sites contract collectors or co-locate near renderers/food processors. Worth a quick scoping call?”

  • Send info first. “I’ll send a one-pager and hold a tentative slot—if it’s not a fit, we’ll cancel.”
